In 1977 the married couple Pepe Castelló and Carmen Martínez build the restaurant 'sa platgeta', in the south of Formentera near Ca Mari. The name is based of a little beautiful beach in front.

2003 the business was given off to 2 young and motivated gastronomes from Formentera - Juanjo Mari (bar) and Toni Ribas (kitchen).

The restaurant is within untouched nature surrounded of trees and bushes: a place ideal for families and lovers of nature and quietness.

The kitchen is mediterranean style where you can choose between excellent fresh fish, seafood (which is possible to view before), paella and a brilliant variety of starters and meat.

The restaurant is opened from april until october. The kitchen is opened non-stop from 1:00 pm until 12:00 pm.
